Archie and Lilibet settling in and enjoying new UK school

Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are settling in and “really enjoying” their new school in Britain.
Prince Harry says the children are happy in class. HELLO! Magazine reported the update on 13 October 2026. Their ages were restated in coverage on 12 October.
The brother and sister left Montecito, California, in August and enrolled for September. It was their first term at school in Britain. The family relocated on 26 August.
That first placement lasted two days. Security concerns prompted the family to pull the children out. Logistical concerns also contributed to the early switch, as reported by PEOPLE.
They moved to a second school. Its exact location has not been revealed for privacy reasons. They are happy there.
Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles, made the move with Meghan Markle and the children. The family has reportedly settled in the Cotswolds, according to HELLO! Magazine. Archie was born in Britain. Both children had previously been educated in Montecito.
Before term began, families at the school received a letter asking them to show Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet “warmth and kindness”. The note set a welcoming tone. It was reported on 11 September.
Security has stayed in the background. The children had attended the second school for two weeks when a fresh alert was reported at the end of September. That alert was passed to RAVEC, the Home Office committee that advises ministers on protective security for prominent people, as reported by HELLO! Magazine.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry said Archie and Lilibet were stalked by certain European paparazzi while at school in the English countryside, as reported by Reuters. Paparazzi were also spotted at the school in the same period. The reports did not name the school.
There have been lighter moments too. Harry spoke of a case of the “Monday blues” before school on 21 September. He described what he told Archie and Lilibet that morning.
What makes this stand out is the speed of the reset. A difficult first choice. A quick change after two days. Then routine begins to settle, and the children now enjoy it.
