Marks & Spencer, the British high-street retailer, has teamed up with Coco de Mer, the luxury lingerie brand, on a 24-piece lingerie collection.

It goes on sale on Thursday, 15 October. It will be sold on M&S online and in selected M&S stores across the United Kingdom, according to WWD.

Prices start at £15. The most expensive piece costs £55.

That is well below Coco de Mer's usual prices. The range is designed to bring the brand's look to a wider high-street audience.

Satin and lace lead the fabrics. The shapes include bras, briefs, suspenders and nightwear, cut in dark tones and light neutrals.

Sizes run from band 30 to 42 and cup A to H, covering a broad span of body shapes, according to Drapers. M&S said fit was a central part of the brief.

Model Alva Claire fronts the campaign. She is photographed in the collection for M&S's website and store imagery.

Coco de Mer normally sells through Harrods, the London department store, and its own shop in London's Belgravia. The partnership puts its name in front of M&S shoppers for the first time.

What makes this stand out is the pairing itself. A luxury name built on small runs and a high-street chain built on volume are selling the same drawer, at M&S prices.
