Kelly Clarkson and Sierra Ferrell will join Brandi Carlile as headliners at Girls Just Wanna Weekend, set for Jan. 14 to 18 at the Barceló Maya Resort in Mexico.

The lineup for the eighth edition was confirmed on Oct. 13, 2026, with Carlile leading her own festival alongside Clarkson and Ferrell, according to Billboard. Carlile will give a headlining performance. Clarkson and Ferrell will serve as fellow headliners.

The festival was founded by Carlile in 2018. It is produced by 100x Hospitality and runs across four days of music, with artist-curated activities and workshops built around the shows.

The wider bill includes The Beaches, CMAT, Allison Russell, Brandy Clark, Lucius, Titans of Americana, Arroba Nat, Tish Melton, SistaStrings, Autumn Nicholas, The Carlile Family Band and The Marshgrass Mamas. Comedian Kristin Key is also on the programme.

The event is curated by Carlile and centred around female and non-binary artists, as described on the festival site. Daytime sets take place poolside. Nightly concerts play in intimate venues, with pool parties and late-night shows also part of the schedule, according to Girls Just Wanna Weekend.

The setting is Barceló Maya, an all-inclusive resort on the Caribbean. The site lists open-air dining, pools and beaches across the property.

For fans, this means close quarters. Small venues and daytime sets put the audience near the performers, a different shape from a standard arena or stadium tour.
