Highdee Kuan Plays Harrelson's Daughter in Apple Comedy Brothers

Olive comes home with a broken engagement. That split sets Brothers in motion.
Highdee Kuan plays Olive, the eldest daughter of Woody Harrelson's character in the Apple TV+ comedy. The series stars Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey as fictionalised versions of themselves, meaning they appear under their own names but in an invented story, living together with their families, The Hollywood Reporter reported in an interview published on 13 October 2026.
It is a reunion. McConaughey and Harrelson previously led True Detective, the HBO crime series, and Brothers puts them back on screen together as themselves. Brothers is made as a comedy for Apple.
Olive's arrival gives that set-up its spark. Her broken engagement brings her back into the crowded household at the start of the series. The move forces parents, partners and housemates into the same space.
Then she gets a job to do. In the fourth episode, Olive goes on a sleuthing mission to help answer the question hanging over the house: are Harrelson and McConaughey actually brothers. It is the show's central joke played straight. One daughter turns detective.
Kuan said the production had a long run-up. Brothers started going into production a year before her interview, which points to work beginning in late 2025. That is a normal span for a scripted comedy, which covers writing, shooting and post-production before release.
For viewers, this means a simple entry point. You do not need the backstory. Two famous friends share a roof. Their families collide. A daughter with a fresh break-up starts asking questions.
The series is now streaming on Apple TV+, according to Apple TV. New episodes land on the service. Kuan's Olive sits at the centre of the family story as it unfolds.
