Troye Sivan and Role Model share TikTok dance to Cowboy

Troye Sivan posted a TikTok clip dancing with Role Model to “Cowboy” on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The video pairs Sivan with American singer Tucker Pillsbury, who records and performs as Role Model. It was shared on Sivan’s TikTok account and then reposted by Pillsbury to his Instagram Story, the short posts that disappear after 24 hours, according to Billboard.
“Cowboy” is a track from Sivan’s album She’s the Best. The album title is also listed in the bio line on Sivan’s official TikTok account, which uses the handle @troyesivan.
The song choice comes with a back story for Role Model fans. Pillsbury previously performed under the Saint Laurent Cowboy persona. He has since moved on to a new alter ego, Chuck Timely, a character name that now leads his current work.
Chuck Timely is front and centre on Pillsbury’s latest album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass. The record reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in August. The Billboard 200 is the weekly US chart that ranks the most-consumed albums across sales and streaming.
Sivan’s TikTok page gives a sense of his reach on the platform. The account lists 3.8 million followers and 117.7 million likes, and follows 65 other accounts. Numbers on social profiles change often, so they are best read as a snapshot rather than a fixed total.
She’s the Best follows Sivan’s 2023 album Something to Give Each Other. That earlier album debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200. It also opened at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, the ranking for dance and electronic titles.
That chart history matters because it shows where Sivan’s last full cycle landed. A No. 20 debut on the main albums chart put the record inside the top 20 in its first week. A No. 1 start on the genre chart put it at the top of its dance and electronic field in the same frame.
What makes this stand out for fans is the shared cowboy thread. One singer is pushing a song called “Cowboy.” The other has just closed one cowboy chapter and opened another.
For now, the clip stands on its own. No joint single, joint performance or wider project has been announced off the back of it. It is simply a short dance video, posted to TikTok and passed along on Instagram.
