GTA 6 leaker posts claimed ending footage, says leaks may stop over coin flop

The Grand Theft Auto 6 leak saga may be ending, not with a takedown but with a crypto disappointment.
The X account @cyberleek_io_ has posted what it claims is footage of the game's ending after weeks of releases, according to Eurogamer. In the same run of posts, the account suggested it may be done sharing material because its linked coin did not rise as hoped.
The ending claim follows a steady drip of uploads. The most widely shared was a 24-minute video that appeared to show story sequences from the unreleased game, as reported by Mashable. That clip included a glimpse of Jason, one of the game's two central characters.
Fans noticed fast. The 24-minute video prompted spoiler warnings across social feeds and fan pages, with viewers urging others not to watch or share plot details, as reported by IGN. The concern is simple. Story moments, once seen, cannot be unseen.
The motive described by the account is financial rather than fan-driven. Cyberleek said it would release a 200GB build of the game, a large package of in-development files, if its coin reached a market cap of US$30 million. Market cap here means the total value of all of the coin's tokens combined. That target was not met, and the account linked the possible end of the leaks to that shortfall.
Cyberleek also offered its own verdict on the material. In posts on X, the account said many people will not be happy with the ending and described it as feeling rushed and having plot holes. Those comments come from the leaker alone. There is no confirmation from the publisher about what is final, what is placeholder, or what lacks context.
For fans, this means caution is still the safest option. Unverified clips can be incomplete, out of order, or taken from an older version. Anyone hoping to meet the story fresh on release will want to mute keywords, skip comments, and treat any so-called ending footage as unconfirmed.
