PlayStation Plus adds Mafia, Horizon and day-one Mycopunk in October

Sony has lined up Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and day-one launch Mycopunk for the October 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

The lineup was published on 14 October 2026, with nine titles arriving in three waves across the month, according to Eurogamer. It is for Extra and Premium members, the two higher tiers of the subscription above Essential. The Game Catalog is the rotating library open to those tiers, separate from the monthly games all members can claim.

The month starts with a single arrival. The Midnight Walk joins Extra and Premium on 14 October for PS5.

The largest drop lands on 20 October. Mafia: The Old Country joins Extra and Premium on that date for PS5. It arrives alongside Horizon Forbidden West, which joins Extra and Premium on 20 October for PS5 and PS4. Mycopunk, a new release offered in the subscription on the same day it launches for sale, joins Extra and Premium on 20 October for PS5.

Two further titles join Premium only on 20 October. Dino Crisis 2, the older action title brought forward for modern consoles, is listed for PS5 and PS4. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, the theme-park management collection, is also listed for PS5 and PS4.

The final wave arrives on 27 October. Poppy's Playtime: Chapter 2 joins Extra and Premium on that date for PS5 and PS4. Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition joins Extra and Premium on 27 October for PS5 and PS4. Monster Energy Supercross 25: The Official Video Game completes the wave, joining Extra and Premium on 27 October for PS5.

What makes this month stand out is the spread of dates. For subscribers, this means three separate days to check the library, rather than a single drop. The mix pairs recent PS5 releases with PS4-supported titles and two Premium-only additions for players who hold the top tier.

This catalog update sits apart from the Monthly Games. Those are the titles Essential, Extra and Premium members can add to their libraries and keep while subscribed. For October, Sony had announced F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 in a PlayStation Blog post published on 30 September 2026.

That post also set the cut-off for the previous month. Members had until 5 October to add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes. PlayStation lists its membership plans as Essential, Extra and Premium on its PlayStation Plus page, with catalog arrivals reserved for the upper two tiers.
