Princess Rajwa of Jordan chose navy and white for a milestone night.

She joined her husband, Crown Prince Hussein, for the 10th anniversary ceremony of the Crown Prince Foundation on Oct. 12, 2026. The Royal Hashemite Court, Jordan's palace office, said the crown prince attended as Regent, accompanied by Princess Rajwa Al Hussein. The couple married in 2023.

Rajwa wore a navy midi dress by Self-Portrait, a British label. Midi means the skirt falls between the knee and ankle. The dress has short sleeves with white cuffs, a white frilled neckline and white floral applique along the collar and down the front, as detailed by Town & Country. Applique means raised shapes sewn onto the fabric, here small white flowers.

It has a built-in waist belt and four pockets trimmed with bejeweled gold-tone buttons. The skirt has a drop hem, a longer layer that falls below a shorter one, as noted by Hello! Magazine. That cut adds movement.

She kept the accessories simple. She paired the dress with gold high-heeled mules, slip-on shoes with no back strap. She carried a gold Bottega Veneta clutch, a small handbag held in the hand. The style is the brand's intreccio Knot clutch, according to Arab News.

The foundation was started by Crown Prince Hussein a decade ago. The Oct. 12 ceremony marked 10 years since its founding. The palace account lists Rajwa alongside her husband for the anniversary appearance.

The outfit drew a familiar comparison in Britain. Hello! Magazine likened Rajwa's Self-Portrait look to Catherine, Princess of Wales. The princess often favors clean lines and sharp tailoring, and the navy-and-white pairing fit that mold.

Rajwa is already known to British royal watchers. She met Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, at Windsor Castle, according to the Royal Hashemite Court. She also sat in on part of the crown prince's meeting with the president of France in October 2025, alongside French First Lady Brigitte Macron.

What makes this stand out is the restraint. Navy with white trim. Gold shoes and a small gold bag. Nothing loud.
