Princess Iman of Jordan turns 30 as Queen Rania shares tender tribute

Princess Iman bint Abdullah II, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, turned 30 on 27 September 2026.
It is a milestone birthday. She entered her thirties as a mother herself. The public marking stayed simple and warm.
The Royal Hashemite Court, the king's official household office in Amman, released a new portrait to mark the day Hello!. The caption used her formal style. It read: "Best wishes to Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II on her birthday." Her Royal Highness, the formal form of address for a princess, appears on all such Court messages.
Queen Rania marked the date separately with a photograph of herself alongside her daughter. The queen writes her own tributes in a direct voice. She posts them on her own accounts. This one was tender.
"Happy birthday, my dearest Iman. Mom to three beautiful little girls, but forever my precious little girl," she wrote.
What makes this stand out is the pairing of roles in one line. Iman is addressed as a mother of three young daughters. She is also remembered as a daughter herself. That is the whole message.
The style is now typical of how Amman handles family birthdays. A short formal greeting from the institution, and a longer personal greeting from the parent.
The family had another reason to celebrate the same week. Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, Iman's younger sister, turned 26 on 26 September, just a day before her sister's birthday. Two daughters, two birthdays, one after the other.
The close dates have prompted joint messages before. In September 2023, Queen Rania shared a tribute to both girls together, writing: "My whole heart! Happy birthday to my sweet daughters, I cherish you more and more every day" People. The Court has also kept a record of birthday portraits, including a photograph of King Abdullah II with Princess Iman published on 27 September 2023.
Birthdays crowd this part of the family calendar. Queen Rania herself celebrates her birthday on 31 August. A month later come her two daughters. For followers, the result was a familiar September ritual: official wishes from the Court, and a family photograph from a mother.
