Salon 94 opens tiny Paris gallery with Deborah Roberts show

Salon 94 is opening a permanent gallery in Paris, and the whole room fits into 323 square feet.
The new space will open during Art Basel, according to ARTnews. It gives the gallery a year-round address in the French capital to run alongside its fair-week appearances.
The address is 30 Galerie de Montpensier. The gallery calls the location Salon 94 Palais-Royal, inside the Jardin du Palais-Royal in Paris.
It is a small footprint. At 323 square feet, the room holds roughly the size of a large living room, built for close-up viewing rather than big crowds.
The opening show is a solo exhibition, meaning one artist fills the space, for Deborah Roberts. Roberts is an American artist born in 1962, known for collage-based portraits.
The show is titled What the water kept : Ce que l'eau a gardé, as listed on Salon 94. It opens on October 18, 2026, and runs through November 28, 2026.
Visitors get a first look on opening night. A reception is planned for Sunday, October 18, from 5-8pm, according to a gallery post.
For visitors, this means an easy stop during a busy art week. Drop into the Palais-Royal, see one artist in one small room, and be back out in the gardens in under an hour.
