Brooklyn has a new stop for designer shopping. Rew the Store, a luxury concept boutique that mixes established and emerging labels, has opened at 115 Grand Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The shop was founded by Rebecca Weisberg, according to WWD.

Weisberg knows the buying side. She previously worked as Divisional Merchandise Manager at Shopbop, Intermix and Saks Fifth Avenue, all fashion retailers. That stockroom-to-shop-floor background shapes the offer.

The opening line-up is broad. It includes Comme Si, High Sport, Jeanerica, Lisa Yang, Maria McManus, Jamie Haller, Marni, the Italian fashion house, Rohe, Ruadh, Stoffa and Toteme, alongside jewellery by Yvonne Léon. The mix runs from knitwear and denim to tailoring and evening pieces.

Prices cover a wide span. They start at $35 for Comme Si socks and rise to $11,000 for a wavy grey shearling coat by Marni, with median prices around $895, as reported by WWD. In plain terms, most pieces sit below four figures, with entry points and one very high top end.

There is no e-commerce. The store is built around in-store discovery, meaning shoppers find clothes by seeing and trying them in person rather than scrolling and ordering online. It is a deliberate counter to click-to-buy retail.

The room matches that approach. The space was designed and built by Mikhail Budhai of Studio Liguanea, with a custom desk and daybed, and Anna Gale of Mostly Objects. The result is closer to a sitting room than a crowded sales floor.

Opening times are structured around that personal feel. The store lists Monday and Tuesday as by appointment, Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm, according to Instagram.

What makes this stand out for shoppers is the simplicity of the pitch. One neighbourhood shop. One edited rack of names. No cart, no checkout queue, just time to try things on.
