Sienna Spiro to make ARIA Awards debut in Sydney

Sienna Spiro will perform at the 2026 ARIA Awards in Sydney. It will be her debut at the Australian awards, and she is the first major international star announced for this year's show, Billboard reported.
The ceremony is the 40th annual ARIA Awards. It will take place on Wednesday, 18 November at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion, according to ARIA. The show will present 29 artist categories.
Spiro is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom. Her debut album is titled Visitor. She has more than 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has accumulated 2 billion streams in total.
Her chart record spans three countries. She has placed three singles on the Billboard Hot 100, the United States singles chart, at the same time. She has six entries on the ARIA Singles Chart, Australia's weekly singles ranking. In Britain, her song Great Expectation reached No. 1, while Visitor peaked at No. 2 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, Britain's weekly albums ranking.
Australian sales have followed. Her song Die On This Hill is certified platinum by ARIA. Four other songs — You Stole The Show, MAYBE, Material Lover and The Visitor — are certified Gold. The certifications mark sales thresholds counted by ARIA rather than prizes.
Spiro arrives in Sydney with fresh US awards form. She performed Great Expectation at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. She won best new artist at that ceremony.
The Australian field is led by local names. Tame Impala and Genesis Owusu each have eight nominations for the 2026 ARIA Awards. Ecca Vandal has seven nominations.
Viewers can watch live. The 2026 ARIA Awards will stream live on Paramount+ at 5.00pm AEDT and be broadcast on 10. Spiro's performance is presented in partnership with Spotify.
For fans in Australia, this means an early live look. Spiro will return to Australia in January 2027 for her Visitor Tour. The ARIA stage comes first.
