Disney+ and Hulu have taken exclusive first play on two true-crime video podcasts from Pave Studios.

New episodes of Clues and Mother Knows Murder will premiere on the two Disney-owned streamers one day before they go wide to other podcast platforms. Deadline reported the pact as its own exclusive on 15 October 2026.

Clues is hosted by Kaelyn Moore. The show has previously won a Webby Award.

Mother Knows Murder is hosted by Niecy Nash with her daughter Dia Nash. It is set to debut on 9 November.

Both titles are video podcasts, meaning each episode is filmed to watch as well as to hear. The deal gives Disney+ and Hulu an exclusive window, meaning a short period when they carry new episodes first. After one day, those episodes open to other platforms.

For viewers, the maths is simple. Watch on Disney+ or Hulu and you see it first. Wait a day and you can catch it elsewhere.

The two shows sit under Crime House, the true-crime sub-brand of Pave Studios. They are the studio's first titles to be picked up by a major streaming platform, according to Deadline.

Pave Studios was founded by Max Cutler. He previously founded podcast company Parcast and joined Spotify as an executive after Spotify acquired Parcast.
