Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have released an expansion pass for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, with three waves of add-on content running into 2027.

The pass is listed on the Nintendo eShop at US$34.99 / £29.99, according to Eurogamer. An expansion pass is a single upfront purchase that unlocks several future downloads as they are released. You need the full version of the game to use it, and the pass is sold separately.

You cannot buy the waves on their own. Nintendo's store listing states that individual waves cannot be purchased separately, so players who want any part must buy the full bundle.

The first wave is available now. It adds four new weapons for use in the game, according to Polygon.

The second wave is scheduled to arrive this holiday season. It adds extra outfits for the cast and three new allies named Aurora, Smyrnos and Jurah.

The final wave is scheduled to arrive in 2027. It will add new stories, new allies, new classes and additional extras. Nintendo's Canadian store listing also describes four additional stories in the pass in total, and the ability to recruit gods to the player's side.

Content from each part can only be used after its release, Nintendo says in its update notice. A game update has added support for the pass, with a Nintendo eShop link labelled "DLC", short for downloadable content, added to the title screen.

Nintendo's UK listing also offers a digital bundle of the base game plus the pass for £58.99 including VAT. That bundle price comes from a 17 September 2026 listing, published before the pass release details.

For fans, this means a clear choice. Buy early and the weapons are ready straight away, with the allies, outfits and stories to follow on their announced dates.
