Jordan Klepper to front midterm elections special Red Flags on Comedy Central

Jordan Klepper will take on the 2026 midterm elections in a new special for The Daily Show.
The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Red Flags will premiere on Oct. 26 on Comedy Central, The Hollywood Reporter reported first as an exclusive.
The half-hour special starts at 11:30 p.m. It airs directly after The Daily Show. It will then stream the next day on Paramount+ and on The Daily Show YouTube channel.
The focus is the forthcoming US midterm elections. Klepper hits the campaign trail to meet candidates, activists and voters. The trip continues his Fingers the Pulse strand, in which he travels to test a political question on the ground. One previous edition sent him around the world to ask if Donald Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
The strand arrives with a strong awards record. The Fingers the Pulse specials have won the past two Emmy Awards for best writing for a nonfiction programme. That run includes Give That Man a Prize, the prior outing under the same banner.
What makes this stand out is the slot. A late-night special tied to an election puts a large reporting effort into one night. For fans, this means a self-contained story. No series catch-up is needed.
Regular episodes of The Daily Show air weeknights at 11/10c on Comedy Central, according to Comedy Central, with episodes available the next day on Paramount+. The Red Flags special follows that same pattern. Watch live on the night of Oct. 26, or stream it from Oct. 27.
