Meghan Markle Wears Plum and Mahogany for Nottingham Outing with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle walked hand-in-hand with Prince Harry in Nottingham on 15 October, wearing a deep plum pencil skirt with a front split and a fitted high-neck top.
The visit began at the Community Recording Studio in St Ann's. The couple arrived together, with Meghan's skirt revealing her legs as she walked. She wore her dark hair pulled back in a neat low bun.
Her midi skirt was a crepe design by The Fold London. It sat high at the waist and finished below the knee, with the split at the front giving it movement. The colour was a rich plum that caught the light as she moved, as detailed by Hello! Magazine.
She paired it with Joseph's Yara jumper in a darker mahogany shade. The top was tucked in and held with a slim leather belt from Marks & Spencer with a gold-toned buckle. The mix of plum and mahogany kept the whole outfit in the same autumnal family without matching exactly.
She finished the look with burgundy Jennifer Chamandi heels and Joseph's woven-leather Mini Loaf bag in Espresso. For the outdoor part of the visit she added a burgundy Joseph coat. The coat was cut long and simple, worn open over the jumper and skirt.
Prince Harry kept his outfit relaxed. He wore a charcoal blazer over an open-neck white shirt, with blue jeans and dark shoes. He walked beside Meghan for much of the visit, holding her hand on arrival.
Nottingham holds a particular place in their story. The couple made their first joint royal appearance there in December 2017, as noted by WWD. On that day, 1 December 2017, shortly after their engagement announcement, Meghan wore a navy Mackage coat, a fitted black Wolford top and a camel Joseph skirt.
What makes this stand out is the continuity. Her 15 October outing was put together entirely from British designers, according to People. Joseph, the label behind the jumper, coat and bag, is also the label behind that camel skirt from her royal debut. It is a quiet link between two Nottingham visits almost nine years apart.
