Olivia Dean Holds ARIA No.1 Ahead of Troye Sivan

Olivia Dean has held off Troye Sivan to keep No. 1 on Australia's albums chart.
Dean's The Art Of Loving returned to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart, Australia's official albums ranking, for a 15th non-consecutive week. Sivan's She's The Best opened at No. 2, according to Billboard.
The result is confirmed on ARIA's Top 50 Albums chart for the week dated 19 October 2026, which lists The Art of Loving at No. 1 and She's the Best at No. 2, as shown by ARIA.
It is a strong return for Sivan. He previously reached No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with 2023's Something To Give Each Other. His earlier albums peaked at No. 3 with 2018's Bloom and No. 6 with 2015's Blue Neighbourhood.
There was plenty of movement behind the top two. Tame Impala's Deadbeat jumped from No. 47 to No. 5. Cameron Winter's Live At Carnegie Hall entered the top 10. Chase & Status debuted at No. 9 with Generic Everything.
The singles chart brought a change at the top. Taylor Swift's "Patient Zero" rose from No. 2 to No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second non-consecutive week. Jamie Miller's "Babydoll" debuted at No. 35.
Dean's presence stretches beyond albums. She holds six titles in the top 40 of the ARIA Singles Chart. Sivan's new album is also listed among the nominees for Most Popular International Artist at the ARIA Awards 2026.
What makes this week stand out is the mix. A returning No. 1, a high debut, a steep climb and three other top-10 arrivals all landed in the same count. For fans, this means the Australian top 10 looks very different from seven days ago, even with the same album on top.
