Nobody Wants This Season 3 Soundtrack Set for Oct. 23 Release
Miley Cyrus, J Balvin and Stella Lefty lead the 17-track soundtrack for season three of Nobody Wants This. The album arrives on Oct. 23, one day after the new season premieres on Oct. 22, according to Rolling Stone.
The compilation was produced by Simon Tikhman alongside Jeff Levin, Chief Zaruk and Ian Cripps. Tikhman is also an executive producer on the show itself.
Cyrus appears twice on the track list. She contributes a song titled “Cold-Blooded” and a demo version of “You”, a track first released on her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation. Demos are early or alternate recordings, often stripped back from the finished release.
J Balvin contributes “Click Click Flash”. The song previously appeared in Fortnite, the online game that regularly hosts music tie-ins and virtual performances.
Stella Lefty teams up with Bailey Zimmerman for “My Kinda Love”. It is listed as a previously unreleased song, billed on the track list under that spelling.
The rest of the album pulls from pop, country, indie and electronic acts. The line-up includes Megan Moroney, Ellie Goulding, Ravyn Lenae, Metric, Maisie Peters, Noga Erez, Mimi Webb, Jessie Murph, Alyssa Grace, Cameron Whitcomb, Bella Kay and Elle Coves.
It closes with an original score suite from composer Duncan Blickenstaff. A score suite gathers instrumental music written for the screen into one longer piece.
For fans, this means the music arrives almost alongside the story. The full season lands first. The songs follow the next day.
