RIIZE take trending international group prize at 2026 TIMA in Hong Kong

RIIZE left Hong Kong with a trophy in hand. The six-member group under SM Entertainment won trending international group at the second annual 2026 TMElive International Music Awards, which ran from Aug. 22-23 at Kai Tak Sports Park, Billboard reported.
The group marked the win with two songs on the night. They performed “Boom Boom Bass” alongside “Do Your Dance”, their new single.
RIIZE spoke about the night in a backstage interview with Billboard at the awards. They described the win as an honour and talked through the new music and their time together as a group.
SHOTARO put the focus on the dancing in “Do Your Dance”. He said the dance break might be a point to pay attention to.
He added that specialist dancers choreographed the track. The group took lessons from them, and he said they were left with fun memories from the sessions.
“Do Your Dance” leads II: The 2nd Mini Album (EP), a mini-album, the short-form release that usually holds six or seven tracks. WONBIN said the message is simple: dance together and have fun. He described the chorus as catchy.
The awards appearance followed a busy run of releases. RIIZE debuted as a group in 2023 and put out the mini-album RIIZING the following year. They released an album titled Odyssey in 2025, then II before arriving at TIMA.
ANTON said the members started living together after officially becoming a group. That shared house has carried through the debut years and back-to-back releases.
The Hong Kong show drew a wide international line-up. Stray Kids, aespa, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and Charlie Puth were among the headliners, while NMIXX took the Leading International Group award.
For fans, this means a clear snapshot of where RIIZE are right now. A new single built for the stage, a trophy from an international awards show, and a group still talking about lessons, living together and learning the steps as one.
