Fuerza Regida Offers Reward for 22 Stolen Live Videos

Fuerza Regida wants its footage back. The group has offered a reward for the return of hard drives and memory cards holding 22 live videos filmed in Mexico City.
Frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz made the appeal in a video posted to the band's Instagram account on Saturday (Oct. 17), as reported by Billboard. The group had travelled to Mexico City to record a live album and accompanying videos for 22 songs. The audio is safe. The video is not.
According to Ortiz Paz, the car belonging to the group's director, Miguel, was broken into and the equipment was taken. He told whoever has it to keep the computer and cameras. Just return the drives.
The offer is a gift or money in exchange for the material. A separate written statement on Instagram also offered a reward for information that leads to its recovery and asked anyone with knowledge to send a direct message. That post carried the hashtag #PisteandoConLaRegidaVol4.
The Instagram video about the theft had been viewed more than nine million times as of publication.
The appeal also touched on the group's label situation. Ortiz Paz said Fuerza Regida is working with Rancho Humilde in good faith to release music for fans. Rancho Humilde is a California-based independent label, a record company operating outside the three major groups, which signed the band in 2018.
The two sides have been involved in opposing legal actions covering contractual control, outside collaborations, releases, touring agreements, royalties and creative independence, according to Billboard. In its written statement, the group said it was advancing with Rancho Humilde to resolve differences and work together in the best way possible.
The trip was organised around that live project. For fans, this means the songs themselves remain intact, but the visual part of the release is on hold until the drives are found or the videos are filmed again.
Fuerza Regida is due in Miami next. The group is scheduled to take part in a Superstar Q&A at Billboard Latin Music Week on Tuesday (Oct. 20) and to perform during the En Vivo event.
