Trump Heads to Kansas to Rally for Senator Roger Marshall

Donald Trump will attend a campaign rally in Kansas on 19 October 2026 to support incumbent Republican Senator Roger Marshall, The Guardian.
The rally is scheduled for Wichita on Monday, Oct. 19, with plans pointing to Park City, according to local reports, KWCH. Trump announced his intention to travel to Kansas in a social media post in which he praised Marshall's work in the Senate, KWCH. On 12 October, he had said he would host a "Kansas Style rally very soon" to support Marshall, Kansas Reflector.
Marshall is seeking a second term as U.S. senator from Kansas. He faces Democrat Adam Hamilton in what has become an unexpectedly close race, though Marshall remains favored to win despite a medical billing scandal threatening his support.
Hamilton won 35% of the vote in an 11-candidate Democratic primary, the party contest to choose a nominee. He is the founder of the largest Methodist congregation in the US. His campaign announced he broke the quarterly fundraising record in Kansas, and two major election forecasters say the race has grown more competitive since he won the primary.
Kansas has not elected a Democrat to the US Senate since 1932. Senate Republicans are moving campaign cash from North Carolina to Kansas as the battle for control of the Senate majority shifts, PBS NewsHour.
