Saros has its free Zenith Update out now, with New Game Plus and a boss-rush mode in tow.

The update is rolling out to players, according to Video Games Chronicle. New Game Plus, a mode that lets players restart the story while keeping progress and gear, leads the pack. It arrives alongside Overlord Rush, a run of back-to-back boss fights for the shooter.

Overlord Rush splits the bosses into sets. Each set holds up to three bosses. The final set is called Totality. It includes every boss in the game.

The update also adds two options aimed at comfort and access. One is an auto-fire setting. It fires the weapon automatically when it is pointed at a hostile. Reloading stays manual. The other is an accessibility option to slow down projectiles.

Zenith was first flagged for later this year during a State of Play event, according to PlayStation Blog. At the time it was billed as bringing Boss Rush, New Game Plus and more. Sony later described additional content and features beyond those two headline additions.

For returning players, this means a reason to jump back in without paying extra. Finish the story, test a tougher loop, or skip straight to the big fights.
