Maine's shotgun is becoming a trading card. WeirdCo has announced Edgerunners: Burn Bright, the second set for the Cyberpunk TCG, a physical trading card game where players build decks and face off with cards based on the Cyberpunk world, with a scheduled launch in spring 2027.

The expansion brings characters, locations and moments from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the Netflix anime series, into the card game. It will also introduce a new chase rarity, a class of extra-rare card inserted at low odds for collectors to hunt in packs, according to details shared via GameSpot.

Burn Bright will be sold in local game stores and big-box retailers. That is two routes at once. Hobby shops serve regular players and organised play, while larger chains put packs in front of casual buyers.

The first card shown from the set is Zhou, Maine's Answer. Its full-colour artwork was revealed exclusively through GameSpot. Short lines carry the weight here. The gun matters.

In the story of the anime's first season, Zhou — also listed as L-69 Zhuo — is the two-handed shotgun carried by Maine. He is the crew leader whose group takes in David Martinez, the young newcomer at the centre of Edgerunners.

The official Cyberpunk TCG account confirmed the title as its second set and presented it with the tagline "We're going to the moon, together" in a post on X. The line speaks directly to viewers who know how David and Lucy talk about the moon.

For fans, this means the tabletop game is opening up. Until now the card pool has sat apart from the anime. Burn Bright pulls that cast, those places and those key scenes into deck building and collecting.

The wait is short but not immediate. With a scheduled launch in spring 2027, players will find the set in stores next year. More card reveals are likely to follow as that window approaches.
