Willy Chavarria Designs No-Name Sweats for Adidas Originals

Willy Chavarria is taking on more work at Adidas, the German sportswear group, as a creative adviser behind a new sweats line that will not carry his name.
The American designer developed the first AdiSignature collection for Adidas Originals, the company's lifestyle division for heritage-based clothing and footwear, according to WWD. The role expands his existing co-branded collaboration with the brand. Chavarria is credited as Creative Advisor of the adiSignature collection, Adidas said in its launch announcement.
The first offering is all sweats, reworked. It includes hoodies, sweatpants, T-shirts and trackpants, including new versions of the Firebird and SST tracksuits, the zip-up two-piece sets long associated with Adidas.
The look leans on bold 1980s-inspired colour blocking. Pieces feature Adidas and Trefoil branding — the Trefoil is the three-leaf logo used on Originals products — and different executions of the Three Stripes. One premium NY block pack updates an archival jogging suit from the 1980s.
No product in AdiSignature will carry Willy Chavarria's name or branding. The line is separate from his ongoing co-branded collaboration with Adidas, where both names appear on the label.
Adidas Originals said it launched the first adiSignature collection of reimagined sweats, as reported by Adidas. The collection drops on 23 October 2026, according to Wallpaper. The outlet described it as the beginning of an ongoing collaboration with Chavarria.
For fans, this means two Chavarria tracks to watch. One has his name on it. One does not.
The named track continues in parallel. The adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria Fall 2026 collection reimagines 1990s street style and was released on 02 Oct 2026, Adidas said. In that range, the Mega Willy Low retails for $230 and the Willy Mega Mid retails for $280, with prices stated by the company. The WC X ADIDAS CHICANO CREWNECK BLK is listed at $160.00 on Chavarria's own online store.
