Dolce & Gabbana and Mytheresa Preview Second Chapter of Holiday Capsule

Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana and Mytheresa, the online luxury retailer run by LuxExperience, will unveil the second chapter of their holiday capsule collection on a Wednesday, WWD reported.
A capsule collection is a small, limited range of pieces made in partnership, often sold for a fixed period. This one is womenswear. According to WWD, it includes sculptural minidresses, floor-length gowns, voluminous evening skirts, halter dresses and pajama pantsuits. Chiffon gowns, handbags, clutches, chokers, earrings, sandals and stilettos are also part of the range.
The partnership is not new. Francis Belin, chief executive of Mytheresa, told WWD that the two companies have worked together since 2017 and have created more than 10 collections. Stefano Cantino, co-chief executive of Dolce & Gabbana, leads the Italian side of the business alongside his co-chief executive.
Mytheresa describes itself as a "finest edit" of more than 200 international luxury brands. Its website promotes collaborations and capsules that shoppers cannot buy anywhere else. Earlier partnership events have taken the brands to Italian resort towns. WWD reported that they have held events in Portofino, Capri, Taormina and Porto Cervo, where they used the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia.
The first holiday capsule went on sale globally on Mytheresa.com on October 15, 2025, according to a PR Newswire release from the brands. The companies then held a launch event in New York City in November of that year. Mytheresa's Facebook page at the time described the range as an exclusive that was available in time for the festive season.
Holiday capsules sit in a busy part of the fashion calendar. Shoppers often buy gifts and party clothes in the final months of the year, and retailers plan their stock well ahead. A second chapter gives the partners a chance to sell a new set of pieces into that window, while keeping the same product mix of evening wear and accessories.
Mytheresa did not publicly state a sales target, and no price list has been published yet. Details on the exact unveiling date and the full product list are expected to follow from the companies.
For shoppers, the practical point is simple: the pieces will be sold through Mytheresa's website, which ships to many countries. For the fashion business, the deal is a reminder that luxury brands and online retailers often work together on limited ranges, with each side handling its own part of the process.
