Sam Fender Announces Nine-Date UK and Ireland Stadium Tour for 2027

Sam Fender has announced a nine-date stadium tour of the UK and Ireland for 2027, starting on June 3 at St James' Park in his home city of Newcastle. Billboard reported the dates on 21 October 2026. The run is called the Proper Massive Stadium Tour.
Newcastle hosts the first two shows, on June 3 and June 5. The tour then moves to Cardiff's Principality Stadium on June 10 and to London's Wembley Stadium for two nights, on June 18 and 20. Fender plays Dublin's Marlay Park on July 1, Edinburgh's Murrayfield on July 8, and Manchester's Etihad Stadium on July 15 and 17.
Between the Dublin and Edinburgh dates, he is due to headline Rock Werchter, a festival in Belgium, on July 3. It will be his first headlining slot at a European festival. Rock Werchter is not part of the nine UK and Ireland dates.
British alt-rock band Wunderhorse will support Fender on every date except the Dublin show.
Fans will get the first chance at tickets through a presale, an early window before the public sale. To take part, people must preorder Fender's fourth album, which has not yet been announced, before 9 a.m. GMT on 26 October. The presale opens on 28 October. General sale, when anyone can buy, starts at 9:30 a.m. GMT on 30 October. Ticket prices have not been included.
The news arrived after a short run of teasers. On 19 October, Fender posted an Instagram video filmed at St James' Park, in which he and his bandmates appeared dressed as characters from The Lord of the Rings. He also added a countdown timer to his official Instagram account ahead of the announcement.
Fender's last album, People Watching, came out in February 2025 on Polydor, a Universal label. It reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, the official weekly ranking of albums sold and streamed in Britain, and won the 2025 Mercury Prize, the annual award for the year's best UK album.
His song "Rein Me In" has had a long run of its own. A remix featuring Olivia Dean spent 23 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, the longest run at the top in that chart's history. That beats the 18 weeks held by Frankie Laine's "I Believe" in 1953. The song also won the 2026 BRIT Award for song of the year, which is decided by public vote, and peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100, the main US singles chart, his highest US placing so far.
For fans, the practical step is to watch the presale dates. Anyone planning to buy through the presale will need to preorder the album before the 26 October deadline.
