Lily Allen Cancels Auckland Show Due to Viral Infection

Lily Allen has cancelled her Auckland concert at Spark Arena hours before showtime, after coming down with a viral infection. The show was set for Wednesday 21 October, and it was the opening date of the Australian and New Zealand leg of her Lily Allen Performs West End Girl tour.
It was also her first performance in New Zealand in seven years. She had not played the country since 2019.
In a message to fans on Instagram Story, Allen said she was absolutely gutted to be letting them down. She apologised to everyone who had travelled for the show and said all tickets would be refunded.
Promoter Frontier Touring wished her a speedy recovery. It told Auckland ticket holders that a full refund would be processed automatically to their original payment account within five to seven business days, and that refund emails from Ticketmaster were on their way. The Spark Arena event page lists the concert as cancelled, with the same automatic refund.
The tour moves on to Australia. Allen is scheduled to play the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday 23 October and Sydney on 25 October. The Australian leg is set to wrap on 1 November.
No other dates on the West End Girl tour appeared to be affected by her illness. The shows feature her 2025 album West End Girl, performed in full.
For fans who had already bought tickets and booked travel, the next step is the refund. Frontier Touring's timeline gives them a clear window to check their payment accounts.
