UK duo Bassvictim have announced a new album, Peace + War, due out on 6 November 2026. The news was reported by Pitchfork on 21 October.

The duo is made up of Maria Manow and Ike Clateman. The new record follows a March release called ?. Stereogum described that project as eight songs, ballad-heavy, with beats and bass turned down, though not off, in favour of acoustic strums. A Pitchfork review of the same project described the duo's sound as built on "violent earnestness."

The lead single is "White Flag." An official YouTube upload of the track credits Warner Records as the provider, and lists Ike Clateman as mixer and producer, with vocals by Bassvictim. A lead single is the song released first to introduce an album, usually weeks before the full record arrives.

The band is also on the road. In an Instagram post from 22 August, Bassvictim announced a 2026 White Flag Tour, with the electronic artist Thoom joining as support act across the run. Support act is the musician who plays before the headliner.

The North American leg ends over Halloween weekend in New York City. The duo plays two shows there. One is at the Knockdown Center, with Dead Butterflies and Killjae. The other is at Gum Studios.

Europe comes next. Bassvictim will return to the continent in November 2026 for a series of dates, including a show at Pitchfork Paris, the festival's Paris event. Pitchfork's announcement of the album did not list the other European cities or their ticket details, so fans should check the duo's official channels for those.

For anyone following the band, the schedule is simple to track. The album arrives on 6 November, the European dates follow in the same month, and the New York shows close the North American run at the end of October.
