Snoh Aalegra Announces Album Legendary Love for November 13

Snoh Aalegra has announced Legendary Love, her first studio album in five years, due on November 13 through Stem. The news came in a press release that included a statement from the singer, and it arrived with a new single, "I Love You".
The song features Nile Rodgers, the guitarist known for his work with Chic, on guitar. Raphael Saadiq, the singer and producer, plays bass. Pitchfork reported the guest credits and the album date.
Snoh Aalegra co-wrote "I Love You" with Joel Compass. Compass and Josh Grant share the production credit. Alfred Marroquín directed the video.
The announcement follows "Karma", which came out the week before. The Line of Best Fit reported that "Karma" was her first new music in three years. Her previous studio album was Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies.
Fans now have a run of dates to plan around. The album is set for November 13, about three weeks after this announcement. A pattern of single first and album later is common in the industry, because a song gives listeners a way in before the full record arrives.
The album also gives the record label a clear date to build a campaign around. Anyone curious about the new music can hear the first single now, before the rest of the tracks come out.
