Janine Harouni's Stand-Up Special Man'oushe Comes to YouTube on 25 October

Comedian Janine Harouni will release her second stand-up special, Man'oushe, on YouTube on 25 October. Deadline first reported the date as an exclusive. Harouni announced the title and release day on her official Facebook page on 20 October.

The hour is built around the miscarriage of Harouni's first pregnancy. It is timed to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, which takes place in October. The show also covers her Arab heritage and a family DNA test that produced a surprising result.

The special also deals with a painful loss behind the scenes. Its director, Adam Brace, died suddenly while the show was being made. Brace was an Olivier-nominated director. His credits include Liz Kingsman's One Woman Show, Leo Reich's Literally, Who Cares and Alex Edelman's Just For Us.

Harouni first performed Man'oushe at the Edinburgh Fringe, the arts festival held every August in Scotland, while she was nine months pregnant. The show earned her a nomination for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, her second year in a row on that list. Her debut hour, Stand Up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated), earned a Best Newcomer nomination at the same awards.

The stage version also played Off-Broadway, meaning professional theatre in New York outside the main Broadway houses. It ran at the SoHo Playhouse. Brace and Jon Brittian directed the stage show. Harouni executive produced the special with her husband, Andrew Nolan. Theatre Royal Stratford East in London has also said it filmed two performances of the show.

The special is the second from Bad George, the production company Harouni and Nolan run together. Its first, Larry Dean's Dafty, sold to Sky One earlier this year. Earlier in 2026, Harouni was named Comedy Champion on Netflix's reboot of Star Search, a talent competition.

Harouni's stand-up has been viewed more than 250 million times on social media, according to Deadline, and she has over 850,000 followers.

Her television work continues beyond the special. She has wrapped a series regular role opposite James McAvoy in Meantime, a Sky Original series based on Frankie Boyle's novel, due in early 2027. A series regular is a cast member who appears in every episode. She also begins a US tour in December. Her representatives are Curtis Brown and Levity Talent.

For viewers, the practical details are simple. Man'oushe arrives on YouTube on 25 October, and the grief at its centre is the reason the release date falls in the awareness month.
