Jaron Myers' New Special 'Happier' Comes to Gorilla Comedy+ on Nov. 16

Stand-up comedian Jaron Myers will release his new special, Happier, on Gorilla Comedy+ on Nov. 16, according to Deadline. Subscribers to the comedy service can watch it from that date.

The special also has a second, free-to-watch date. It will premiere on YouTube at 7 p.m. Central Time on Dec. 15. Central Time is the US time zone that covers Missouri, where Myers is from.

Myers is a Missouri native and is based in Los Angeles. His viral videos have gathered more than 1 billion views across social media, Deadline reports. His press kit lists more than 1 million followers online.

His earlier work includes two stand-up specials on Prime Video and a special for Dry Bar Comedy. His breakout special, The Blind Date, followed him on a real first date in front of a live audience. He later married the woman he went on that date with.

Myers also co-hosts the educational comedy podcast Things I Learned Last Night.

Gorilla Comedy+ has built a lineup of stand-up specials. Ed Byrne brought his special Tragedy Plus Time to the service. The company behind it, 800 Pound Gorilla, was founded in 2016 and is based in Nashville. It has also announced Ron Funches' special Eat Cookies And Die and Gareth Reynolds' Why Aren't You Bigger?, according to 800 Pound Gorilla.

Happier adds another name to that list, with two dates for fans to mark on the calendar.
