The music video for "Gata Only," by Chilean singer FloyyMenor with Cris MJ, has passed one billion views on YouTube. Billboard reported the milestone on 22 October 2026, and the video is the first by either artist to reach that count. It has also entered YouTube's Billion Views Club, the platform's recognition for videos that reach a billion views.

The song was released in March 2024. It reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart by April, the weekly ranking of the most popular Latin songs in the United States, which combines streaming, radio airplay and sales. It stayed at the top for 14 consecutive weeks and later finished as the year-end No. 1 on that chart.

The track also travelled well beyond the Latin charts. It logged multiple weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Chile Songs chart, and it reached No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100, the main weekly singles ranking in the United States. For FloyyMenor, that was his first appearance on the Hot 100. For Cris MJ, it was his second entry on the chart.

Two more chart firsts stand out. The song gave FloyyMenor his first top 10 on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. chart, which ranks songs across markets outside the United States. It also made FloyyMenor and Cris MJ the first Chileans to enter the Hot Latin Songs top 10 in 25 years, since La Ley and Ednita Nazario's "Tú Sabes Bien."

Earlier, in October 2024, FloyyMenor became the first Chilean artist to light up the Empire State Building in the colours of the Chilean flag, during Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States. That display was a separate milestone from the chart run, but it fits a year in which the song reached audiences well beyond Chile.

The official video was directed by Ignacio Cruz and is posted on the FloyyMenorVEVO channel on YouTube, where anyone can watch it. Views count plays on that platform, and a billion of them is a figure that few music videos reach. For the artists, it is a clear marker of how long a song can keep finding listeners after its first release, and for the wider industry it is a reminder that a chart run can start in one country and spread from there.
