Cardi B says she is done feuding with other female rappers, calling the back-and-forth "kinda boring." She told followers so during an X Spaces chat on Wednesday, 21 October, according to Billboard. X Spaces is the platform's live audio room, where a host talks and listeners can join in.

The chat quickly moved from rivalries to a younger generation of artists. Cardi B said she loves the music of Trim, a Gen Z hip-hop star, and thinks she is talented. She then drew a line around another artist, using a crude phrase that fans read as a reference to 24-year-old rising rapper Sunshine Benzi, Billboard reported.

Benzi answered on X. Her posts were addressed to Cardi B's account, @iamcardib. One told the Grammy-nominated star to "call your writer," and another asked how many times Cardi B had changed her face compared with how many raps she had written. Billboard said it has reached out to Benzi for comment.

The chat also responded to online talk about a New York Times magazine interview published on 21 October. In it, Cardi B named Madonna, Lil' Kim, Foxy Brown and Trina as her main inspirations growing up. She later posted on X about the magazine's issue, and the interview was the subject of chatter before she spoke on Spaces.

Her most famous rivalry has been with Nicki Minaj. Complex has described it as a feud that has run for nearly a decade, with rumours of the split dating back to 2017. Cardi B's remarks on Wednesday did not name Minaj.

Complex also covered the chat on 22 October, under a headline that quoted her description of rap beef as "boring." Her comments fit a pattern in hip-hop, where public spats often play out in interviews, social posts and live streams before fading.

For fans, the practical question is whether the exchange with Benzi continues. Cardi B's remarks have so far been spoken and posted, not announced as a new project, and no release or tour date was linked to the chat.
