Pitbull sat down for a live "Superstar Q&A" at Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami Beach, the trade event running October 19 to 22, 2026. He spoke with Leila Cobo, Billboard's Chief Content Officer, about his career and his latest album, according to Billboard.

The album is PITCOIN, released on October 8 on Mr. 305 Records. Its opening track, "Reach for the Stars," is a new version of KISS's "Rock and Roll All Nite."

The record also includes "Now or Never," a collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi that updates Bon Jovi's 1999 song "It's My Life." Billboard reports that "Now or Never" debuted on five of its charts: Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Adult Top 40 Airplay, Hot Dance/Pop Songs, Mainstream Top 40 Airplay and Adult Contemporary. Airplay charts track how often radio stations play a song.

Country music runs through much of Pitbull's work. He has collaborated with Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton and Zac Brown. He also shared music with Dolly Parton, who died at 80 in August 2026, and he told the panel that the late Jimmy Buffett helped him in his career. Buffett died in 2023 at 76.

Miami is never far from his catalogue. "Damn, I Love Miami," his song with Lil Jon, was part of the soundtrack for the 2020 film Bad Boys for Life.

Billboard also published a cover interview with Pitbull ahead of the conference, in which he talked about a bald-cap concert record, his tour success and his home city. The same reporting covers the tour he is taking into the new year. Pitbull's official tour page lists a concert at MEO Arena in Lisbon on November 2, 2026, and an appearance at Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California, in 2027.

For fans, the conference panel is a rare chance to hear how a song comes together, from the first idea to the version on a playlist. For anyone following the business, it also shows how a single album can connect radio, festivals, film soundtracks and a long run of collaborations at once.

Billboard Latin Music Week is a working conference for the music industry, with panels on charts, deals and touring. The Q&A format lets an artist talk through a career in front of an audience of people who make the music business run.
