The Glee reboot has a home. Disney+ and Hulu have given the revival a series order, meaning they have committed to a full run of episodes rather than a single test episode. Deadline reported the news this week.

No cast has been announced with the order. Heather Morris, who played Brittany, and Chord Overstreet, who played Sam Evans, are in talks to return. Lea Michele is also in talks to reprise Rachel Berry. In talks means negotiations are under way, and nothing has been signed.

Ryan Murphy, who created the original show with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, said he has been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members. The reboot comes from 20th Television, the studio behind the first series.

The original Glee ran for six seasons, from 2009 to 2015, on Fox. It was set at William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, and followed the New Directions glee club as it competed on the show choir circuit, the national network of singing competitions for high schools. Sam Evans arrived as a transfer student, joining both the football team and the glee club. The show won six Emmy Awards.

Fans who want to revisit the story can find the original on Hulu, where it currently streams. There is no premiere date or episode count so far.
