Chrishell Stause says she won't be watching the tenth season of Selling Sunset, the reality show she left after nine seasons.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published on 23 October 2026, Stause spoke at the magazine's Creator A-List Party, presented by UTA. She said she hopes the season is a good one. She also made clear she does not plan to follow it closely.

Stause was blunt about the show's past. Asked about the drama that has followed the series, she said that if anything defamatory is said about her, her lawyers will be told. Defamation means false statements that damage someone's reputation. Her warning to the production was short: "don't defame me, I will sue you."

Stause first revealed in November 2025 that she was leaving the series after Season 9 came out in October 2025. Variety reported at the time that she had unresolved issues with several castmates, following a fight at the end of that season.

The show itself is still moving ahead. Selling Sunset was renewed for a tenth season in April 2026, meaning the network or streamer agreed to make more episodes. No release date has been announced yet, so viewers do not know when the new season will arrive.

Stause's message to her former castmates was not all sharp. She said she wants the cast to go on and do their thing, and that she wishes the show well. Her comments leave a clear split: she is stepping back from the series, but she is not asking anyone to stop making it.

For fans, the practical news is simple. There is a season ahead, but no date yet. Stause will not be part of it, and she has said she will not be watching.
