Chino Pacas, Clave Especial and Vic Blends Join House of Guerrero

Chino Pacas, Clave Especial and Vic Blends have joined the cast of House of Guerrero, a boxing drama, The Hollywood Reporter reported on October 23, 2026. The film is directed by Gina Rodriguez, who is also one of its stars.

Vic Blends is a barber and entrepreneur with more than 25 million social media followers. The film also adds Emily Austin, who makes her feature acting debut as a boxing announcer. Austin has covered major fights for DAZN, the sports streaming service, as a broadcaster.

The story follows a once-promising young boxer, played by Carlos Sanson Jr., who wants to return to the ring. Sanson Jr. leads a cast that was announced in September. Rosario Dawson, George Lopez, Becky G, Tokischa and Rodriguez were named alongside him, according to Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter.

This is Rodriguez's first feature as a director. Justin Baldoni is a producer, and Bernardo Cubria wrote the script. Production has begun in Los Angeles and California's Imperial Valley, a farming region near the Mexican border, the trade paper reported.

Worldwide sales are handled by UTA Independent Film Group, the sales arm of the talent agency UTA. A sales company takes a film to buyers in other countries, so the distribution plan will become clearer as those deals are struck.

Sanson Jr.'s earlier credits include Bump. Dawson is known for Ahsoka, and Lopez for Lopez vs. Lopez. The newly added names bring a mix of backgrounds to the production, from social media and sports broadcasting to acting.

No release date has been reported for the film. Casting moves like these often come months before a film reaches cinemas, so the next announcements are likely to focus on distribution and the release calendar.
