Olivia Rodrigo Returns to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as Zach Bryan Debuts at No. 2

Olivia Rodrigo's album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love is back at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the main U.S. album chart. It is her third time on top, and the three stints have not run back to back. Billboard reported the result on Oct. 25, 2026, ahead of the chart dated Oct. 31, which the magazine will post in full on its website on Oct. 27.
The album earned 75,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 22, up 15% from the week before, when it sat at No. 2. Equivalent album units are a way of adding plays, sales and track downloads together as if they were album sales. Of the 75,000, 63,000 came from streaming, which Billboard converts into 67.14 million on-demand official streams. Album sales made up 11,000 units, and track equivalent album units, which convert individual track sales, made up 1,000.
The lift followed the Oct. 15 release of a remix of "Expectations" with Chappell Roan, released alongside an official music video. Rodrigo's album first reached No. 1 on the charts dated June 27 and July 4, and it has stayed in the top five for all 19 weeks it has been on the chart. In June, the album also debuted at No. 1 on the UK Official Albums Chart and held that spot for a second week, according to Billboard.
Zach Bryan's new album, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, debuted at No. 2 on the same Billboard 200 chart. Bryan announced the eight-song project on Oct. 12 and released it four days later, on Oct. 16. It includes collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Turnpike Troubadours. The album earned 65,500 units, made up of 59,500 from streaming, 5,000 from album sales and 1,000 from track equivalent album units. It is Bryan's sixth release to chart in the Billboard 200 top 10.
His previous album, With Heaven on Top, debuted at No. 1 in January 2026. Bryan finished his With Heaven on Tour on Oct. 10. His Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs Tour starts on April 28, 2027, and the CD and vinyl editions of the new album are due out in December.
Chart positions are counted in units, but each unit is a listener who pressed play or bought a copy. The shifts this week came from fans streaming a single remix and from a new album's first days of release. For the crews and venues that will staff Bryan's spring 2027 shows, the next step is the tour calendar, which is already set.
