Princess Beatrice's Husband Congratulates Royal Couple on Baby Zahra

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, husband of Princess Beatrice, has sent his congratulations to a royal couple on social media. He liked an Instagram post by Prince Abdul Mateen that features their daughter, Baby Zahra. He also left a comment on the first family photo of Prince Mateen, Princess Anisha and their child, according to Hello! Magazine.
The comment reads: "Congratulations Mateen and Anisha. Zahra ❤️". On Instagram, a "like" is a tap on a heart icon that shows approval of a post, and a comment appears underneath it for others to read.
Zahra is the first child of Prince Abdul Mateen and Princess Anisha. She was born on 8 February.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi is a property developer. He married Princess Beatrice in 2020 in Windsor. Princess Beatrice is the niece of King Charles. The couple have two daughters. Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi was born on 18 September 2021. Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi was born on 22 January 2025, and the palace announced her birth on 29 January 2025 on the royal family's official website.
The family has also grown in another way. Princess Beatrice is stepmother to Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie. He is the son of Mr Mapelli Mozzi and his former partner, Dara Huang.
The three adults were all guests at a royal wedding in Jordan in 2023. Princess Beatrice turned 38 on 8 August 2026.
Royal baby news often travels through the public accounts of the people involved, and this exchange is an example. The posts show friends and relatives sharing a new arrival in their own words. For a new parent, a few short lines from a family member can mean as much as any formal announcement.
