Sharon Osbourne Says She Visits Ozzy Osbourne's Grave Every Day

Sharon Osbourne says she visits the grave of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, every day. She told the BBC that she can see the grave from her window.
Ozzy Osbourne, the Black Sabbath singer, died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. A public funeral procession took place in Birmingham, England, on July 30, 2025, and fans from across the world left flowers, cards and messages at memorials around the city.
Speaking in comments reported on October 26, 2026, Sharon Osbourne said she did not bury her husband in a public graveyard, so that he could rest in peace. She also spoke about how hard the loss has been. "You never get over it," she said, as Billboard reported. "But you learn to live with it, and that's what I'm trying to do," she said in comments carried by People.
The tributes did not simply go into a bin. According to Billboard, the family collected the cards and messages left at the public memorials in Birmingham, then sorted and photographed them. The floral tributes were composted into the family garden at Welders House, the family's 250-acre estate in Buckinghamshire.
Sharon Osbourne was also among the mourners in Birmingham. The BBC reported that she added a pink rose to the tributes left by fans in the city in July 2025, and that she laid a flower at the Black Sabbath bridge in September 2025.
The couple's children have spoken publicly about their grief too. Kelly Osbourne shared photos from an emotional visit to her father's grave on Friday, March 13, 2026, People reported. In April 2026, she called losing him "the hardest thing I've ever been through."
Sharon Osbourne's words are a reminder that grief does not follow a timetable. For many people who have lost someone famous, the private rituals of visiting a grave or keeping a card matter as much as the public moments that the world sees.
