Jane Krakowski and Scott Adsit are coming back to the small screen as guest stars in season 2 of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. The Hollywood Reporter reported the casting on Oct. 26, 2026. Both actors are alumni of 30 Rock, and both are returning in roles that differ from their earlier work.

A guest star is a performer who appears in some episodes without being part of the show's main cast. That means the core cast stays in place, and the new faces arrive for a handful of episodes at a time. Season 2 also adds Jason Mantzoukas, Edi Patterson and Andre De Shields.

Krakowski plays Angela Broyer, an interior decorator to the stars from northern New Jersey. Adsit plays Ed Sommers, a local man who always plays Santa at the neighbourhood Christmas tree lighting. Patterson plays Lisa, the head of the homeowners' association, or HOA, who decides who gets to play Santa. The HOA is the group that sets rules for a residential neighbourhood, so Lisa's job is to make that call.

Mantzoukas plays Peter Za, a music producer working on a video with Brina. De Shields plays Vernon Bellow, a documentary filmmaker and mentor to Arthur Tobin. Both roles put new people in contact with the show's central characters, and each one brings a different line of story into the season.

The series stars Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe. Sam Means and Robert Carlock are its co-showrunners, the lead writers and producers who steer the show from one episode to the next. Season 2 begins on Nov. 2.

Guest casting is a common way for a show to widen its world without changing who is in the main cast. For the actors, a single guest role can mean a few days on set, and for the crew, a season's worth of work.

Season 2 of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins premieres on Nov. 2.
