Warner Music Latina Promotes Roberto Andrade Dirak to President

Warner Music Group has promoted Roberto Andrade Dirak to president of Warner Music Latina and of A&R for Latin America, the company announced on Monday, 26 October 2026.
A&R stands for artists and repertoire, the team that finds new artists, signs them and shapes their recordings. Warner Music Latina is the Latin American arm of Warner Music Group, one of the three largest recorded music companies in the world, alongside Universal and Sony.
According to Warner Music Group's announcement, the expanded role gives Andrade Dirak responsibility for championing artists across the entire region. The company said the move is meant to power Warner Music Latina's next chapter and its growth.
Andrade Dirak is based in Miami. He will continue to report to Alejandro Duque, the president of Warner Music International, which covers the group's operations outside the United States and Canada.
Before this promotion, he held the title of managing director of Warner Music Latina. Billboard reported the promotion on the same day as the company's announcement.
What the change means in practice is a wider remit. A president of A&R oversees the search for talent across several countries, each with its own music scene, language mix and audience habits. Latin America is a large and varied market, and the new title puts one leader in charge of signing and developing artists across it.
For the artists already on the roster, and for the teams who work with them every day, the immediate effect is a new point of leadership.
