Jack Wolfe, Luca Pasqualino, Katherine Parkinson and Jamael Westman are the latest performers to join Tim Crouch in An Oak Tree at The Other Palace, according to WhatsOnStage, which published the news on 27 October 2026.

The play is written and performed by Crouch, but he does not perform it alone. A different guest artist joins him for each performance. None of the guests has read or rehearsed the play beforehand, so each one comes to the stage with no prior run-through.

The four new names have been given the following dates:

  • Luca Pasqualino: the evening of 31 October
  • Jack Wolfe: the matinee on 31 October
  • Jamael Westman: the matinee on 7 November
  • Katherine Parkinson: 14 November

The run ends on 15 November 2026. Other guests announced for the run include Mathew Baynton on 28 October, Brian Gleeson on 30 October, Adrian Lester on 3 November, Reece Shearsmith on 6 November and Suranne Jones on 15 November. Khalid Abdalla, Hugh Skinner, Katie Leung and several others also have dates in the schedule.

The format is not new. An Oak Tree premiered in 2005. Since then, it has been performed hundreds of times in more than 19 countries. More than 350 performers have taken on the guest role over that time.

For audiences, the appeal of the format is simple to state. Each show features a different actor, writer or performer alongside Crouch, and the names on the list change from one performance to the next. Anyone booking for a particular date will see a different guest from the one listed for the night before. Anyone planning a visit should check the box office at The Other Palace for tickets for specific dates and prices.

The run is short. There are just under three weeks left from the date of this announcement, with the final performance on 15 November. Dates for the guest artists have been published in full, so people who want to see a particular name can check the calendar and book early.
