Taylor Swift Ties Rihanna for Most Pop Airplay Top 10s

Taylor Swift has tied Rihanna for the most top 10 hits in the history of Billboard's Pop Airplay chart, with 30 each. Billboard reported the tie on October 27, 2026.
The Pop Airplay chart ranks songs by how often they are played on U.S. radio. It began in October 1992. Each week, Mediabase tabulates plays from nearly 150 U.S. mainstream top 40 stations, and Luminate supplies the figures to Billboard. A top 10 placing means a song reached one of the chart's ten highest spots.
Swift and Rihanna are also level on total appearances, with 52 each. Swift still has the most Pop Airplay No. 1s, at 16. Bruno Mars is next with 13.
The newest entry in the tie is "Patient Zero," which climbed three places to No. 10 on the chart dated October 31. Swift's first Pop Airplay top 10 was "Teardrops on My Guitar," which peaked at No. 7 in February 2008. Rihanna's run stretches from "Pon de Replay," which hit No. 2 in September 2005, to "Wild Thoughts," DJ Khaled's track featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, which reached No. 4 in September 2017.
"Patient Zero" also has a chart record of its own on the Billboard Hot 100, the main U.S. singles chart. It debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated October 10, and it was Swift's 16th Hot 100 No. 1. The song held the top spot for its first three weeks. Only The Beatles, with 20, and Mariah Carey, with 19, have more Hot 100 No. 1s.
The song is one of four new tracks on the deluxe edition of Swift's album The Life of a Showgirl, released September 25, 2025. On the Hot 100 top 10 count, Drake leads with 90 entries, and Swift has 74.
For radio, the tie is a reminder of how long a song can keep getting played. Each new top 10 adds to a count that has been building for almost two decades.
