Remakes of Counter-Strike, The Simpsons: Hit and Run and Super Hot can be played on Roblox, the platform where users build and share their own games. As of 27 October 2026, none of the three was uploaded by the creators of the original game.

Among them is a Counter-Strike-inspired experience from a Roblox user called Takeoff Interactive. Its description calls it "just a passion project" and says it has no monetisation, meaning no purchases or paid extras. The game has a bomb-diffusion mode, where two teams fight over two bomb sites.

The most unusual upload may be a recreation of the PlayStation 4 home screen, the menu that sits at the centre of Sony's console. Eurogamer reports that it works as a dashboard, with a media gallery, a web browser, trophies and a server-based chat feature. The dashboard includes seven playable games: The Simpsons: Hit and Run, Cluster Truck, Superhot, Gang Beasts, Five Nights at Freddy's, Undertale and PaRappa the Rapper.

The Roblox versions of Superhot, The Simpsons: Hit and Run and the PlayStation dashboard were uploaded by a user called Redwing Works. Activision, the Superhot team and Sony did not upload them. Each remake sits on Roblox as a separate user-made experience, not as a release from the companies that made the original games.

Roblox hosts games made by its users, so anyone with an account and the platform's creation tools can publish a game there. That openness is why fan projects, parodies and recreations of other people's work turn up on the service. Whether a remake of someone else's game is allowed to stay up is a question for the platform and the rights holders, and neither has commented so far.

Takeoff Interactive's game stands out for its stated lack of monetisation. Many experiences on Roblox earn money through in-game purchases, but the Counter-Strike-inspired upload says it has none.

Eurogamer has contacted Sony and the developers for comment on the Roblox remakes.
