Deranged Minds Entertainment has announced a feature-length documentary about actress Danielle Harris, the performer many horror fans know from the Halloween films. Variety reported the announcement on 27 October 2026.

The film covers Harris's life and career and was shot over three years. Destinie Orndoff and Tristan Clay are its directors and producers. Hayden Todd Wilberger and Jordan Wyant are also credited as producers.

The documentary mixes archival footage and private home video with interviews. Those interviews include Harris herself, along with her family, friends and collaborators. Personal footage of this kind is often hard to find for a film about a working actor, so the mix of old material and new conversations is central to the project.

Harris has a long screen history. She appeared in four Halloween films: Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009). She also appeared on television, in Roseanne and The Wild Thornberrys. Variety has noted that Halloween 4 introduced her to horror fans around the world when she was 11.

The documentary is in post-production, the stage where footage is edited, scored and finished. It is planned for a festival run in 2027. Festivals are where many documentaries first meet audiences, and where sales agents and buyers look for films that will later reach cinemas and streaming services.

For fans of the Halloween series, the film offers a longer look at the actress behind several of its best-known appearances. For anyone new to her work, it is a chance to see how a child actor's career has unfolded over more than three decades. The film's festival premiere is the next date to watch.
