Kailyn Lowry's new series, Crashing Out With Kail, debuts Tuesday, 27 October, on ShortVydz, a streaming platform designed to be watched on a phone first.

Lowry previously starred on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2. The new show follows her on her international Fatherless Behavior tour, and it is built for short attention spans. Each episode runs two to four minutes, and each stop on the tour is told as its own story. That kind of brief, self-contained episode is known as short-form, and it is the format the platform was made for.

ShortVydz describes its series page as showing Lowry rebuilding and rebranding. The platform also describes the tour featured in the show as sold out. ShortVydz

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lowry said the new show focuses on her work and her life behind the scenes as a mom. Teen Mom, she said, focused more on her relationships than on motherhood. Lowry has seven children.

Lowry also works on the show with her partner, Isaac "Ike" Knighton. She said it is the first time she has worked directly with a partner in this way.

For viewers, the biggest practical difference is length. A two-to-four-minute episode can be watched during a short break, and a full tour stop can be finished in one sitting. The show arrives on a service that is not a traditional television channel, so it will be watched on a screen the viewer already carries.

Lowry is also known beyond television. She founded the KILLR Podcast Network and serves as its chief executive.

ShortVydz is launching a second series alongside Lowry's show. Abby vs. Cathy: Hit the 8 reunites former Dance Moms stars Abby Lee Miller and Cathy Nesbitt-Stein as judges of a dance competition. Both titles are part of the platform's push into short reality programming.

Viewers can find the series page for Crashing Out With Kail on ShortVydz.com, where the first episodes are listed from the premiere date.
