Barry Keoghan Appears in Skin Treatment Video as He Speaks of Online Abuse

Actor Barry Keoghan appears in a social media video showing a Xerf skin treatment, shared by Dermaspa founder Nilam Holmes. Variety reported the video on 27 October 2026.
Holmes said the treatment was Keoghan's second Xerf session. She said she has worked with him for some time, looking after his skin for films, campaigns and other projects. She also named several other clients who have had the treatment: Chris Appleton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Joe Alwyn and Nicole Scherzinger. In March 2025, she posted about treating Keoghan for a cover of Wonderland magazine.
Xerf is a non-surgical skin-tightening treatment. It uses radio-frequency energy, which is heat delivered through the skin, to tighten the skin and renew collagen, the protein that gives skin its firmness. No needles are used. Dermaspa describes it as a multi-frequency treatment that sculpts and lifts the face. Dermaspa has listed it as a new treatment on its menu. According to Variety, a face and neck session costs around $3,500.
The video comes as Keoghan speaks about the abuse he has received online. In an interview with SiriusXM's "The Morning Mash Up," he said that abusive comments about his appearance made him not want to go outside. He said he had removed himself from social media to avoid the nasty comments about him, according to Variety.
Holmes describes herself as a skin and beauty expert and eyebrow specialist with more than 34 years in the industry. Her Instagram profile also lists her as the founder of Eyebrow Queen.
Celebrity skin treatments often reach fans through social media posts, and this one is no different.
