Reacher Takes September's Top Spot in Nielsen's Streaming Chart

Reacher was the No. 1 original streaming series in September 2026, with 4.6 billion minutes viewed, according to Nielsen. An "original" series is one made for a streaming service rather than for television channels. "Minutes viewed" is the total time people spent watching, added together across all viewers.
The figures cover 1 to 30 September and count viewers aged 2 and up. Variety reported the ranking on 28 October.
Ted Lasso Season 4 came second, with 3.6 billion minutes. The Apple TV series comes from Warner Bros. TV. Its fourth season sits behind Reacher by one billion minutes.
Two shows tied for third place, each with 3.3 billion minutes. One was Neagley, the new series with Maria Sten in the lead. The other was Lioness, which stars Zoe Saldaña and airs on Paramount+. Monster: Lizzie Borden, which premiered on Netflix on 17 September, ranked fifth with 3.1 billion minutes.
Neagley arrived on 16 September, when Prime Video released its full first season in one go. Releasing every episode at once, rather than week by week, is a common approach on streaming platforms. Viewers can then watch at their own pace. Nick Santora runs Reacher as showrunner, meaning he is the lead writer and producer who oversees the show. On Neagley, he shares that role with Nicholas Wootton. Alan Ritchson stars in Reacher.
Reacher and Neagley are both made by Paramount TV Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. Lioness comes from Paramount TV Studios and 101 Studios, with Taylor Sheridan among its executive producers, the senior producers who oversee a series from above the day-to-day shoot.
