Swedish pop singer Zara Larsson broke the attendance record at Auckland's Spark Arena on two consecutive nights, Billboard reported on 28 October. She drew 12,796 fans on 25 October and 12,798 on 26 October, a combined total of 25,594 across the two shows.

The first night also passed the New Zealand record for the largest single-night indoor arena concert, according to the NZ Herald. The previous Spark Arena mark belonged to Linkin Park, who sold 12,736 tickets for a show in March 2026. Spark Arena opened to the public in 2007 and is New Zealand's largest venue.

The Auckland dates closed her debut headline tour of Australia and New Zealand. The tour ran 10 shows across six cities, and all of them sold out. Billboard reported that her earlier stop at Sydney's Afterpay Arena, on 23 October, drew almost 18,000 fans. It was the largest headline show of her career.

Larsson's path to the stage started young. She won Talang, the Swedish version of the television talent contest Got Talent, in 2008, when she was 10. In February 2026 she was nominated for a Grammy in the best dance pop recording category for "Midnight Sun". The Grammys are chosen by nominations and votes from members of the Recording Academy, the US body that runs the awards.

Venue records are simple to state and harder to picture. Each of those 25,594 people chose a date, bought a ticket and made their way to the arena, often over a long weekend. For the promoters, staff and crews who put two nights in one building together, the numbers are a week of work that finished on schedule.
